Each doll is completely one of a kind. My inspiration comes from all kinds of sources, from the beautiful landscape that surrounds me in South Wales, where I imagine all the fairy folk that inhabit the hidden places live to bits of fabrics, trims and beads.

'Eyes are the window to the soul' which is why when I'm sculpting I like to start with the eyes. Many people like to paint their own eyes but I like to use Acrylic/Glass doll eyes. Once their set into the face the rest of the features are built around them, they dictate everything from hair colour, costume colour and theme of the piece. Which is why when I'm sculpting I only have a vague idea what I want the finished doll to look like.

Each doll is hand painted with acrylic paints then costumed. Every piece is completely one of a kind and no moulds are taken.
